Just prior, family members had gone to the complex wanting to get inside to check on two people who had not been heard from since at least Saturday.

Investigators say maintenance staff forced entry into the apartment, and that is when the bodies of a man and a woman were found dead. A firearm was found between the bodies, and it is believed there had been a fight between the two before they died.

The man and the woman were only described as being in their 20s.

The motive for the shooting is still unclear, but police are reportedly not looking for any suspects.

Stay tuned to 550 KTSA and FM 107.1 for the latest in this developing story.

More about:

Yellow police tape says “police line do not cross” is set against blurry background.
