The vehicle involved in the crash has only been identified as being light-colored.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">The vehicle fled the scene and Dominguez was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. On Monday, June 29, the Medical Examiner\u2019s Office contacted the El Paso Police Department Special Traffic Investigators to inform them that Dominguez had died.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">EPPD\u2019s STI unit continues to investigate the crash.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Anyone with information regarding this crash is asked to contact police at the non-emergency number of 915-832-4400, or to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers of El Paso at 915-566-8477.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">This is the 24th traffic fatality this year compared to 30 this same time last year.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">Copyright 2026 Nexstar Media, Inc.
