St. Mary\u2019s Street, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DaDVxHOFjL_\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">shared on Instagram<\/a> that they are still accepting donations at the restaurant. <\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Donations include non-perishable foods, personal hygiene products, water, baby and pet products. <\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">KSAT spoke with the founder of <a href=\"https:\/\/mercychefs.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">global nonprofit Mercy Chefs<\/a>, who says his team in San Antonio is flying to Venezuela to feed survivors by cooking and serving hot meals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">\u201cWe know this isn\u2019t gonna be just the immediate response, but there\u2019s going to be an ongoing demand for months or years into the future,\u201d Chef Gary Leblanc said. \u201cSo we\u2019re going to make sure that the Mercy Chef Kitchens in Venezuela are prepared for that long-term commitment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Since the twin earthquakes struck, people in San Antonio have reached out to help, including Zulia\u2019s Kitchen on the North Side.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">A video shared on the restaurant\u2019s Facebook page shows the boxes of donations they collected at the restaurant. <\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">\u201cWe highlight once again the kindness of everyone who donated,\u201d the caption reads in part.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Below is a list of national organizations accepting donations to support Venezuela.<\/p>\n<p>National organizations assisting and accepting donationsRead also:<\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 by KSAT &#8211; All rights reserved.<\/p>\n<p><script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"SAN ANTONIO \u2013 Recovery efforts are still underway six days after twin earthquakes ripped through Venezuela.
