E.SUN Bank, one of Taiwan\u2019s leading financial institutions, has opened a representative office in Dallas, becoming the first Taiwanese bank in the city. The move comes as Taiwanese businesses are expanding rapidly in North America, with Texas on the rise as a global business hub.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur new Dallas office is more than geographic expansion\u2014it\u2019s a commitment to powering the economic synergy between Taiwan and Texas,\u201d Joseph Huang, chairman of E.SUN Financial Holding Co., said in a statement. \u201cAs the region attracts global capital and innovative industries, we are proud to serve as both catalyst and cornerstone for the next era of U.S.-Asia partnership, supporting Taiwanese enterprises and facilitating mutually beneficial investments.\u201d<\/p>\n
E.SUN\u2019s Dallas office\u2014at 2323 Ross Ave. No 730\u2014is E.SUN\u2019s second U.S. location after Los Angeles. It expands the company\u2019s footprint \u201cto better serve Taiwanese, Asian, and U.S. enterprises in America\u2019s fastest-growing business corridor,\u201d the bank said.<\/p>\n
The move enables E.SUN to deliver hands-on support and local advisory services for companies navigating cross-border growth in a dynamic commercial landscape, the bank added.<\/p>\n
Joining the Dallas business boom<\/p>\n
E.SUN noted that Dallas is \u201criding unprecedented momentum, leading the nation in corporate headquarters relocations and business expansions in recent years.\u201d<\/p>\n
Fueled by a pro-business climate, a surge in tech sector investment, and the pending launch of the Texas Stock Exchange<\/a>, the Dallas region has become a magnet for international capital\u2014including major commitments from Taiwanese companies such as GlobalWafers<\/a>, Foxconn, Wistron<\/a>, and Inventec.<\/p>\n E.SUN said its arrival links Taiwan\u2019s world-class high-tech economy with Dallas\u2019 \u201csurging innovation ecosystem,\u201d providing a strategic gateway for Asian capital and building new financial connectivity between East and West.<\/p>\n The Dallas office complements the recently launched Taiwan Trade and Investment Center<\/a>, located in the Pinnacle Tower on LBJ Freeway in Dallas.<\/p>\n The opening reflects the deepening partnership between Taiwan and Texas, a relationship reinforced by record-setting bilateral trade totaling $25.6 billion in 2024, and the launch of a direct Taipei-Dallas flight.<\/p>\n Taiwan has \u2018strong economic ties\u2019 to Texas<\/p>\n E.SUN said the new office marks Phase 1 of its Dallas expansion, with plans to offer full banking services\u2014including corporate and commercial lending, trade finance, real estate project loans, and cross-border advisory support\u2014upon receiving regulatory approval to operate as a U.S. branch.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, clients will be referred to E.SUN\u2019s Los Angeles branch, ensuring \u201cseamless service continuity and responsive support\u201d for businesses navigating international growth.<\/p>\n E.SUN said its Dallas office will leverage local market insight and its global network that spans 35 locations across 11 countries to deliver flexible, comprehensive financial services for businesses with complex cross-border needs.
