DALLAS (KTVT) – Passengers on a Frontier flight are breathing a huge sigh of relief.<\/p>\n
A bomb threat note was found onboard, forcing the plane to stay on the tarmac at Dallas-Fort Worth Airport on Monday for two hours.<\/p>\n
Worry and confusion erupted on the flight after a pilot announced a note was found in the lavatory saying there was a bomb on board. <\/p>\n
\u201cSuper nervous \u2026 not knowing if it was real or a prank,\u201d passenger Mary Putney said.<\/p>\n
The plane was traveling from Denver to Dallas, arriving just after 9 a.m.<\/p>\n
Moments after touching down, the pilot notified passengers of the situation, immediately grounding the plane.<\/p>\n
\u201cIf you left that note in the lab, we can avoid what we\u2019re about to go through,\u201d the pilot can be heard in an announcement. \u201cOtherwise, we\u2019re going to have to deplane and have a full search and it\u2019s not going to be pretty.\u201d<\/p>\n
Within minutes, the plane was swarmed by law enforcement personnel. <\/p>\n
One man was escorted off the plane for questioning, but later returned to his seat.<\/p>\n
Frontier Airlines and airport officials said law enforcement ultimately determined the threat to be noncredible.<\/p>\n
However, some passengers say the experience has left them shaken.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis was the last thing we needed,\u201d passenger Shariese Blue said. <\/p>\n
Authorities have not said if anyone has been charged. <\/p>\n
