There\u2019s good news and bad news for loyal fans of Brumley Gardens<\/a>. After 12 years in Lake Highlands, Chris Brumley and his family have sold their farm in Wills Point. Owner Chris Brumley and his family will continue operating Brumley Gardens on Church Road. Billy and Valentina Anthony have purchased Brumley Farms in Wills Point, which is now operating as Mulberry Creek<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Brumley called his sale of the farm portion of the business \u201can incredibly hard decision,\u201d but encouraged his valued customers to support this business \u201cjust as you\u2019ve supported us over the years.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBrumley Farms has been a lifelong dream,\u201d he posted to social media, \u201cone that I poured my heart and soul into building. From walking the greenhouses with my dogs and cats, to caring for the cows, goats, sheep, and chickens, to watching the greenhouses come alive each season with beautiful flowers, shrubs, trees and perennials \u2014 every moment has meant the world to me. I have truly enjoyed every second of this journey. But now it is time for me to step back and pass the torch.\u201d<\/p>\n

On Church Road, nothing much has changed. Early this morning, crews were watering blossoms and loading bags of mulch as usual.<\/p>\n

Brumley Gardens is at 10540 Church near 635 and Plano Road.\u00a0<\/p>\n
