(OnScene,  Copyright 2026 by KPRC Click2Houston &#8211; All rights reserved.)<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">HOUSTON \u2013 Houston police are investigating a deadly shooting after officers were called to the 8400 block of Broadway Street around 1 a.m. Friday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">According to the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.click2houston.com\/topic\/Houston_Police_Department\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.click2houston.com\/topic\/Houston_Police_Department\/\">Houston Police Department<\/a>, officers arrived and found an adult man suffering from a gunshot wound. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.click2houston.com\/topic\/Houston_fire_department\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.click2houston.com\/topic\/Houston_fire_department\/\">Houston Fire Department<\/a> responded and pronounced him dead at the scene.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Box-_wrDxHtU__Box-sc-10sa3ie-0 Text-nO2aZ44r__TextBase-sc-s2hv5x-0 jJNfBD fSvavs article-text\">Crime Scene Unit personnel and homicide investigators were called in to process evidence and work to determine what led up to the shooting.
