{"id":360078,"date":"2026-07-03T16:04:09","date_gmt":"2026-07-03T16:04:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/360078\/"},"modified":"2026-07-03T16:04:09","modified_gmt":"2026-07-03T16:04:09","slug":"paxton-investigating-stubhub-over-world-cup-ticket-cancellations","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/360078\/","title":{"rendered":"Paxton investigating StubHub over World Cup ticket cancellations"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Texas Attorney General <a href=\"https:\/\/www.houstonchronicle.com\/politics\/texas-take\/article\/paxton-takes-issue-talarico-labeling-california-22328956.php\" data-link=\"native\" class=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ken Paxton<\/a> is calling for Texans to file complaints with\u00a0his office if they believe they were scammed by the ticket resale company\u00a0StubHub over FIFA World Cup tickets.<\/p>\n<p>Paxton said Friday\u00a0that his office is investigating after fans, including in World Cup host cities like Dallas and Houston, reported that StubHub canceled their tickets days or hours before kickoff.
