{"id":360672,"date":"2026-07-04T03:29:18","date_gmt":"2026-07-04T03:29:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/360672\/"},"modified":"2026-07-04T03:29:18","modified_gmt":"2026-07-04T03:29:18","slug":"slain-texas-mom-seen-in-new-footage-minutes-before-sisters-cookie-and-kitty-allegedly-killed-her","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/360672\/","title":{"rendered":"Slain Texas mom seen in new footage minutes before sisters Cookie and Kitty allegedly killed her"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New images show Texas mom Caroline Raquel Pe\u00f1a just minutes before she was stabbed to death \u2014 with the murder also caught in full on home surveillance cameras, according to a newly released criminal complaint.<\/p>\n<p>The doorbell cam footage shows mom of five Pe\u00f1a, 32, with a slight smile on her face as she chats on the phone while on the doorstep of one of her now-accused murderers, Kyandra Renee Faz, 21, on June 25.<\/p>\n<p>Minutes later, two sisters \u2014 Amaya \u201cCookie\u201d Diaz, 19, and <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/07\/02\/us-news\/how-smiling-texas-sisters-cookie-and-kitty-tried-to-cover-up-murder-of-mom-of-5-according-to-cops\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Kitty Mia Diaz, 21<\/a> \u2014 pull up in a black Chrysler 300, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.50146628;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"39877126\" width=\"886\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/three-suspects-arrested-murder-court-133119071.jpg\" alt=\"A woman with a bun in her hair and a patterned shirt talking on a cell phone.\" class=\"wp-image-39877126\"  \/>Caroline Raquel Pe\u00f1a arrived at Faz\u2019s Del Rio home the afternoon of June 25 and was brutally stabbed and attacked a short time later, cops said. KENS 5 \/ YouTube<\/p>\n<p>Cookie then got out of the vehicle carrying an object, believed to be a knife, and confronted Pe\u00f1a \u2014 allegedly stabbing her in the back, according to the complaint and footage that showed blood soaking the mom\u2019s shirt.<\/p>\n<p>Cookie\u2019s sister and their friend then jumped in and allegedly beat the badly wounded woman before fleeing the scene, authorities have alleged.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe entirety of the incident\u201d was captured by a home surveillance camera near the scene, the complaint said.<\/p>\n<p>It is not yet clear how the women knew each other, but Faz claimed the slain mother showed up at her house \u201clooking to start a fight,\u201d according to the complaint. <\/p>\n<p>Just two hours after the brutal attack,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/06\/28\/us-news\/sickening-footage-shows-texas-sisters-cookie-and-kitty-grin-as-theyre-busted-for-hacking-young-mom-of-5-to-death\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Cookie and Kitty flashed twisted smiles<\/a>\u00a0as police hauled them off in handcuffs.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators say Cookie, who <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/06\/29\/us-news\/smiling-teen-was-the-one-who-stabbed-caroline-pena-to-death-cops-reveal-along-with-a-tragic-new-twist\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">appeared grinning from ear to ear<\/a> as police led her to a squad car in handcuffs, stabbed Pe\u00f1a in the back before <\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.50146628;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"39877127\" width=\"886\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/allegedly-killed-sisters-kitty-mia-132846730.jpg\" alt=\"Kitty Mia Diaz, Amaya Cookie Diaz, and Kyandra Renee Faz, allegedly involved in the killing of Caroline Pe\u00f1a, are shown in an outdoor photo.\" class=\"wp-image-39877127\"  \/>A criminal complaint says the entire bloody attack against Texas mom-of-five Caroline Raquel Pe\u00f1a was captured on home surveillance cameras. Obtained by NY Post<\/p>\n<p>Pe\u00f1a was reportedly driven to a local hospital by her nephew.
