The strongest storms may produce:<\/p>\n
Damaging wind gusts over 75 mph
\nQuarter to golf ball size hail
\nFrequent cloud-to-ground lightning
\nHeavy rain
\nLocalized flash flooding<\/p>\n
The storms will generally move southeast through the afternoon and evening.<\/p>\n
Localized flooding will be something to watch, especially across North Texas, Northeast Texas, and East Texas where heavier storms may produce quick rainfall totals.<\/p>\n

Today\u2019s storms may produce gusty winds well ahead of the rain. That matters if you are on a lake, at a park, or at an outdoor event.<\/p>\n
