As storm waters continued rising, first responders were able to help residents safely escape their homes south of Plano<\/a> in Kendall County<\/a>.<\/p>\n

First responders rushed into the waters early Sunday morning near Hale and Needham roads.<\/p>\n

A call came in reporting water encroaching on the homes with multiple people needing to be rescued, according to a news release by the Little Rock-Fox Fire Protection District.<\/p>\n

When Little Rock-Fox Fire crews arrived at the scene, people needed to escape multiple residences.<\/p>\n

\u201cCrews arrived on scene to find [the] roadway submerged with water and water moving, elevating to a swift water rescue situation,\u201d the fire district said in the release.<\/p>\n

The crews helped people escape from two homes while residents from another area home were able to escape safely without assistance, the fire district said.<\/p>\n
