If convicted, she could face decades behind bars.<\/p>\n<p>RELATED: <a href=\"https:\/\/news4sanantonio.com\/news\/local\/hearing-11-03-2025#\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Stepmom accused in triple murder case appears in court, attorneys request speedy trial<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Romanos is accused of helping her stepson, Christopher Preciado, hide the bodies of Soto and Guerra after investigators say he shot and killed the couple following a drug deal. She, along with Christopher&#8217;s father, Ramon Preciado, who is also accused of helping, face charges of altering or destroying evidence, concealing a human corpse, and tampering with evidence.<\/p>\n<p>Ramon Preciado is currently out on bond, while both Romanos and Christopher remain in custody.
