The City of Plano is inviting the media and the public to see the proposed Willow Bend District that could one day be the home of the Stars.<\/p>\n

The city is recruiting the Stars from Victory Park in Dallas. The Stars want a new arena and an entertainment district<\/a> surrounding it, like Arlington’s. The Mavericks also plan to leave Victory Park<\/a> after 2030.<\/p>\n

The community open house is Wednesday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., and Tuesday, July 14, from 6 to 8 p.m., at The Shops at Willow Bend. The entrance will be near Equinox and Crate & Barrel.<\/p>\n

The community open house will also offer a self-guided virtual tour<\/a> until July 22.<\/p>\n

The city says the next steps in the development process are traffic modeling to understand how the area will impact traffic.<\/p>\n
