Three children are safe after a carjacking Monday morning in the Aldine area, according to the Harris County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n

Deputies responded to a call in the 700 block of Aldine Mail Route Road, where investigators learned a woman had gone into a store and left her three children, ages 1, 3 and 10, inside her vehicle.<\/p>\n

Authorities said a man allegedly got into the vehicle and drove away with the children still inside.<\/p>\n

Overnight, @HCSOTexas<\/a> deputies responded to a call for service in the 700 block of Aldine Mail Rt. Deputies learned a person went into a store and left her three children, ages 1, 3, and 10, in the vehicle. A male suspect allegedly entered the vehicle and drove away with get\u2026<\/p>\n

Investigators said the suspect later let the 10-year-old out of the vehicle, while the 1-year-old and 3-year-old remained inside.<\/p>\n

A short time later, officers with the Humble Police Department located and stopped the stolen vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody, and the two younger children were safely recovered.<\/p>\n

All three children are safe. Authorities have not reported any injuries.<\/p>\n

The Harris County Sheriff\u2019s Office credited deputies and Humble police officers for their quick response. Officials said additional information about the suspect is expected to be released later today.<\/p>\n
