H-E-B is getting ready to open the doors of one of its most anticipated stores in North Texas.<\/p>\n

The grocer announced in an email on Monday, July 6 its new Murphy location will open on Wednesday, July 22 at 6 a.m. at 740 E. Farm Road 544 and McCreary Road.<\/p>\n

\u201cH-E-B is excited to build on the company\u2019s longstanding presence in the area and continue its expansion across North Texas,\u201d a statement from the company read.<\/p>\n

This new location, which broke ground in November 2024,<\/a> will be located in Collin County.<\/p>\n

Shoppers can get their fuel, sushi, fresh fruits, cakes, charcuterie board items, barbecue, groceries, medication, fresh flowers and more at the 122,000-square-feet store.<\/p>\n

H-E-B in North Texas and HEB<\/p>\n

H-E-B has expanded into the Metroplex, by opening stores in Allen, Frisco, Fort Worth\u2019s Alliance, Mansfield, Prosper and Melissa. Dallas is getting its first H-E-B, too.<\/p>\n

Last summer, H-E-B announced it is building a second Fort Worth location, after Alliance, in the Walsh development off Interstate 20 just west of the Parker County line.<\/p>\n

The grocer recently opened an Irving location<\/a> on June 17. This store is the first H-E-B store to offer Masala House, an H-E-B product line of in-house meal options like chicken masala, butter chicken, naan, chutney dips and other items.<\/p>\n

Prior to that, an H-E-B opened a Mid-Cities location<\/a> on May 20 in Euless near Bedford and Colleyville.<\/p>\n

The company also opened its Joe V\u2019s Smart Shop in Irving in November. The 58,000-square-foot store is part of the H-E-B family of brands, but offers lower priced items.<\/p>\n

H-E-B, with headquarters in San Antonio, operates more than 455 stores in Texas and Mexico and employs more than 175,000 people.<\/p>\n
