SAN ANTONIO \u2013 The United States Postal Service temporarily suspended services at a North Side post office after a woman crashed her car into the building Wednesday morning, according to a USPS spokesperson.<\/p>\n
Officers dispatched for a reported collision just before 11 a.m. at the Lockhill Post Office in the 12900 block of Huebner Road, according to a San Antonio police preliminary report. <\/p>\n
When officers arrived, SAPD said they found a older woman who inadvertently drove into the post office. <\/p>\n
The unidentified woman was treated for her injuries and later taken to a hospital in an unknown condition, SAPD said. Police said the woman may have suffered a \u201chealth episode,\u201d during the crash.<\/p>\n

Becky Hernandez, a USPS spokesperson, said the post office\u2019s front door, retail lobby and P.O. box lobby were damaged following the crash.<\/p>\n
Hernandez said no injuries were reported, and it is unclear when the repairs would be completed.<\/p>\n
For any customers affected, retail services are available at its Cedar Elm Post Office located at 5837 De Zavala Road between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. <\/p>\n
Mail for P.O. Box customers will be secured at the Lockhill Post Office until it can be safely retrieved, Hernandez said.<\/p>\n
