France&#8217;s national holiday, Bastille Day on July 14, commemorates the storming of the Bastille prison in Paris in 1789. It was a pivotal moment in the French Revolution.<\/p>\n<p>Here are four Bastille Day events to check out in North Texas.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a note, weather-related schedule changes and other updates are a possibility, so make sure to check event websites as you plan your trip.<\/p>\n<p>LA F\u00caTE DE LA BASTILLE HAPPY HOUR<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy a happy hour full of French art, culture and community at the Kimbell Art Museum. There will be live music by the String Theory\u00a0Manouche, a French-themed scavenger hunt with prizes and an art-making activity.<\/p>\n<p>July 10 from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Kimbell Art Museum, 3333 Camp Bowie Blvd., Fort Worth. The activities will include a Featured Artist Workshop Series: La Beaut\u00e9 de la Chose; Eiffel Tower string art; Nic\u00e9phore Ni\u00e9pce and the Beginning of Photography; French Art Through the Ages; and the immersive Journey through France.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>BASTILLE DAY AT CHEZ FABIEN<\/p>\n<p>Kick off Bastille Day at Chez Fabien Bistro, and experience a night full of all-you-can-eat mussels, a cr\u00eape station, live music and a can-can performance.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>July 14 from 3 to 11 p.m. at Chez Fabien Bistro, 316 S Main St., Grapevine.
