The union also cited affordable housing, insurance, and a “fair District Attorney.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
Mamdani, 34, a self-described democratic socialist and former state\u00a0assemblymember, ran an online-savvy campaign focused on cost-of-living issues, electrifying New Yorkers\u2014much to the chagrin of opponents and critics like President Donald Trump.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The comments on the\u00a0HPOU’s post took the trolling even further, promising New York’s Finest “bagels” and bragging that Houston’s George Bush Park could “fit nine Central Parks” and “still have room for Liberty Island, Ellis Island, Yankee Stadium, and the Brooklyn Bridge.”\u00a0<\/p>\n
