{"id":369448,"date":"2026-07-11T13:09:17","date_gmt":"2026-07-11T13:09:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/369448\/"},"modified":"2026-07-11T13:09:17","modified_gmt":"2026-07-11T13:09:17","slug":"deputies-arrest-18-year-old-for-aggravated-assault-with-a-deadly-weapon","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/369448\/","title":{"rendered":"Deputies arrest 18-year-old for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 Deputies arrested an 18-year-old after an alleged aggravated assault involving a firearm was reported in El Paso County last weekend. <\/p>\n<p>According to the El Paso County Sheriff\u2019s Office, deputies responded to a report of an aggravated assault involving a firearm on July 5 in the 14700 block of Flora Court in El Paso County. <\/p>\n<p>Following the investigation, deputies identified Damian Rodriguez as the suspect and obtained an arrest warrant charging him with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.<\/p>\n<p>On July 6, deputies located Rodriguez in the 2000 block of Cypress Avenue, where he was taken into custody without incident, the sheriff\u2019s office said.<\/p>\n<p>He was transported to the El Paso County Detention Facility and booked on the outstanding charge.
