FORT WORTH, TX – Quorum Architects, a commercial architecture and interior design firm, is pleased to welcome Kendall Noto as an Architectural Intern with the firm\u2019s Affordable Housing team.<\/p>\n
Noto completed her Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Texas at Dallas in the Spring of 2021 and will assist the Affordable Housing team as she completes her Master of Science in Architecture at the University of Texas at Arlington. She brings three years of residential design experience, establishing herself as a great addition to the firm.<\/p>\n
Quorum\u2019s Affordable Housing team reaches Housing Authorities across Texas and is expanding further into Oklahoma. This accomplishment has created the need for a new position that Noto has successfully stepped into.<\/p>\n
\u201cKendall was an immediate help to our team!\u201d Principal Scott Wilson said. \u201cWith nearly 50 projects at various stages ranging from preproduction through closeout, Kendall is learning and contributing wonderfully.\u201d<\/p>\n
As a Minnesota native, Noto and her family decided to relocate to Texas to escape the long, frigid winters. While her parents were building their home, Noto discovered her admiration for architecture and how buildings were constructed. It was then that she decided to shift her focus from mechanical engineering to architecture.<\/p>\n
\u201cGrowing up, I always enjoyed learning how things are made, and architecture gave me a way to turn that curiosity into something meaningful,\u201d Noto said. \u201cIt allows me to create spaces that not only function well but also enhance people’s daily lives.\u201d<\/p>\n
In her downtime, Noto enjoys running and plans to participate in a half-marathon. She also has a passion for sports, having grown up playing golf and basketball. Professionally, she will prepare to begin her journey towards becoming a licensed architect after she completes her master\u2019s degree.<\/p>\n
