It was the winner of the 2025 edition of the Fade to Black Arts Festival. Blending psychedelia, folk and the sounds of the Mediterranean (the traditional instrument called the baglama saz is a big part of the mix!), the group has fashioned a globe-trotting style that is\u00a0finding an audience outside of Spain. Similarly, Galveston’s India\u00a0Tigers in Texas makes a heady rock’n’roll noise that fits in well with Mohama Saz’s approach, just as it did a couple of years back when opening for Brazil’s Os Mutantes here in Houston.
