(KKTV) &#8211; An El Paso County deputy was arrested on Tuesday, accused of unlawful sexual contact. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The El Paso County Sheriff\u2019s Office (EPSO) said it recieved a call for service at a business in the 6800 block of Fountain Mesa Road, south of Fontaine Boulevard. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to the Sheriff\u2019s Office, a reporting party said that an adult man entered the business and inappropriately touched an adult woman. The victim reportedly did not know the suspect. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The suspect had left the business before deputies arrived. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">EPSO began an investigation and identified the suspect as 34-year-old Christopher Ramirez, a deputy with the El Paso County Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Ramirez was located, and deputies said he was taken into custody and booked into the El Paso County Jail for unlawful sexual contact.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Ramire has since been released from jail on a personal recognizance bond following his hearing. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Ramirez has been working for the El Paso County Sheriff\u2019s Office since November 2024 and has been assigned to the Detention Security Division. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">EPSO said he has been placed on administrative leave. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The incident is under investigation. <\/p>\n<p>Copyright 2026 KKTV.
