An El Paso County Sheriff\u2019s deputy was arrested on Tuesday night in unincorporated El Paso County and charged with unlawful sexual conduct, according to a news release by the Sheriff\u2019s Office.<\/p>\n
Christopher Ramirez, 34, was taken into custody without incident and booked into the El Paso County Jail after the Sheriff\u2019s Office received a call stating an adult male had entered a business in the 6800 block of Fountain Mesa Road and allegedly inappropriately touched an adult female, according to the release. <\/p>\n
The suspect, who left the scene before the arrival of deputies, was unknown to the victim, the release stated. An investigation identified Ramirez as the suspect.<\/p>\n
Ramirez, who has been employed with the Sheriff\u2019s Office since November 2024, was released on a personal recognizance bond on Wednesday after his advisement hearing, the release stated.<\/p>\n
Ramirez worked in the Detention Security Division and has been placed on administrative leave. <\/p>\n
