PLANO \u2014 Plano Mayor John Muns will hold a news conference following tonight\u2019s City Council special session. He will address the Council\u2019s decision on the City\u2019s future membership in Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART).<\/p>\n

The news conference will take place on the Council Chambers floor at the Plano Municipal Center, Senator Florence Shapiro Council Chambers, 1520 K Avenue, Plano, Texas 75074.<\/p>\n

The City Council meeting begins at 5 p.m. and will determine whether to call an election allowing residents to vote on Plano\u2019s continued participation in DART.<\/p>\n

Ten seats in the back row of the Council Chambers are reserved for credentialed media. Five seats are on the left and five on the right side of the room. Media should remain in place while the audience exits.<\/p>\n

Once the room clears, media will be invited to move to the chamber floor to set up for the news conference.<\/p>\n

Additionally, the news conference will be live-streamed at PlanoTV.org and on the City of Plano\u2019s YouTube and Facebook channels.<\/p>\n
