KTSM) – An El Paso McDonald’s general manager has been selected as one of only four McDonald’s managers in the U.S. to receive an all-expenses-paid trip to the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final.

Teresa Castillo, who manages the McDonald’s restaurant at Dyer Street and Fred Wilson Avenue, earned the honor after her restaurant achieved the top performance ranking in the El Paso market, according to McDonald’s.

Company officials said Castillo’s restaurant outperformed more than 600 restaurants within her McOpCo district based on overall scorecard performance.

Castillo was surprised with the announcement during a celebration at her restaurant. As part of the award, McDonald’s is providing airfare, hotel accommodations and tickets to the FIFA World Cup Final, which will be held Sunday, July 19, at MetLife Stadium in New York-New Jersey.
