A Fort Worth man was arrested Thursday in the killing of his wife and mother-in-law, according to a social media post from the Azle Police Department.<\/p>\n

The man, identified by police as Joseph Gordon, is being held at the Parker County Jail on two counts of capital murder, according to the post.<\/p>\n

Azle police responded about 9:30 Tuesday morning to the 200 block of Stuart Bend Court after receiving a report of a suspicious situation, officials said. Because of the circumstances, officers entered the home to check on the welfare of the residents.<\/p>\n

Inside the home, they found the two women dead from apparent gunshot wounds, according to the post.<\/p>\n

The Tarrant County Medical Examiner\u2019s Office identified the women as 83-year-old Teresa Howe and 59-year-old Traci Gordon, according to online records.<\/p>\n

Using FLOCK cameras and evidence collected at the scene, investigators identified Joseph Gordon as the suspect, and the Texas Rangers arrested him, according to the post.<\/p>\n

The investigation is ongoing, police said.<\/p>\n
