(KY3) &#8211; A man has been arrested in Texas in connection with the attempted theft of an ATM at a Gainesville bank in March, the Ozark County Sheriff\u2019s Office announced.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Jaivon Smith was taken into custody without incident in Highlands, Texas, following an investigation led by Ozark County Sheriff Cass Martin. Smith is currently being held in the Harris County Jail awaiting extradition to Missouri.<\/p>\n<p>Charges<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Smith is facing the following charges in connection with the incident:<\/p>\n<p>StealingProperty damage, first degreeTheft of a motor vehicleBackground<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The Ozark County Sheriff\u2019s Office was called to Stockman\u2019s Bank on the morning of March 26 in response to an attempted ATM theft.
