\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAlright. Heading into the weekend, we’ve got at least the chance for some storms at times, I think starting today and then especially on Sunday, I think, uh, those two days will likely have the, uh, the best coverage, but even then not everybody is promised, uh, some rain. So this weekend some widely scattered storms at times, mainly afternoon and evening, so nothing unusual there. Heading into next week though, it looks like we start to drop our rain chances, dry out *** little bit, and then the heat begins to build, especially the first half of the week. So Monday through Wednesday we start to see *** major heat risk where we could start to have some heat advisories that are at least issued for part of our area and then late next week, believe it or not, models have been. Starting to be *** bit more consistent with *** frontal boundary moving through. I hate to call it *** cold front, but it does look like it will drop not only our humidity but our temperatures somewhat too as well. So from going unbearable to actually kind of *** *** nice pleasant change if that does indeed verify and it looks like that would be toward the end of next week. We’re still watching this area here outlined by the national hurricane. Center for *** very low chance that we could see some tropical development just an area that kind of bears some watching. It may start to throw *** little more uh Gulf moisture our direction late in the weekend, uh, before we see it kind of clear out again, but certainly giving some rain this weekend to the peninsula and some of the uh the coast as well. Here’s *** look at our chance for storms today. On average, about *** 40% chance coverage looks to be *** little. Bit higher there across some of the east and northeastern spots on Saturday I’ve dropped it to about *** 40% chance on average. Again coverage looks *** little higher in the east. That’s not to say we couldn’t have some storms in West Alabama though, but I do think they’d be spottier on Saturday. Sunday looks to be the day where I think we could have more widespread coverage of showers and thunderstorms, so we’ve got *** 50% chance on Sunday. It’s still going to be plenty of heat and humidity around for the weekend, but it does look like it starts to really jump up heading into early next week, Monday and Tuesday. Look at some of those heat index values with high temperatures expected to uh to be in the mid 90s. So we are going to. Go with some low 90s heading into today and over the weekend and then next week is when we’ll see those mid 90s Tuesday, Wednesday, and then if that front comes in, those temperatures could come down quite *** bit, especially the humidity too by next Thursday and Friday, but that could be some wishful thinking.
