97 West at the Hotel Drover was ranked as a top 100 hotel restaurant by Open Table. It was the only Fort Worth hotel restaurant recognized.<\/p>\n

Once again, Hotel Drover and its restaurant 97 West are representing Fort Worth well by gaining national recognition.<\/p>\n

In OpenTable\u2019s top 100 hotel restaurants<\/a> rankings, 97 West prevailed as the only Fort Worth pick. Sister in the Casa Duro Hotel and Stillwell\u2019s in Hotel Swexan, both in Dallas, also made the list.<\/p>\n

In another ranking, Travel + Leisure<\/a> placed Hotel Drover on its World\u2019s Best list for the fifth year in a row (so, since the hotel opened). Again, this was the only Fort Worth brand to be recognized in the ranking.<\/p>\n

Hotel Drover and 97 West<\/a> both opened in Fort Worth in March 2021, anchoring the $175 million Mule Alley. Instantly, the luxury western hotel rivaled Fort Worth\u2019s other high-end hospitality options like the Omni and Worthington Renaissance. When the Michelin Guide came to Texas in 2024, Hotel Drover received a Michelin Key<\/a>, which is the hotel equivalent to a restaurant\u2019s Michelin star.<\/p>\n

In the Star-Telegram\u2019s roundup of most-reserved restaurants<\/a>, 97 West is commonly within the top 10 for most booked restaurant each month.<\/p>\n

The favorite dish<\/a> from the western inspired restaurant is a New York strip chicken fried steak, which is breaded lightly, then drenched in creamy gravy made from house-made smoked sausage.<\/p>\n

But customers also love their chicken fried oysters, Akashi strip steak and cheeseburger. As for the bar portion, the smokin\u2019 marg is a fan favorite.<\/p>\n

Hotel Drover<\/a> is a four-star hotel by the Autograph Collection.<\/p>\n

Reflecting its location in Fort Worth\u2019s Historic Stockyards, the charming hotel features odes to the original Texas drovers (animal herders) with longhorn skulls, rustic wood and leather accents and plenty of turquoise. It is located just down the street from Exchange Avenue where drovers drive the longhorn cattle<\/a> twice a day.<\/p>\n
