City officials say those actions also help preserve Corpus Christi’s strong credit profile.<\/p>\n
The ordinances will return to the City Council for a second and final reading on July 28. If approved, the updated water and wastewater rates will go into effect Jan. 1, 2027.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Corpus Christi residents could see a small increase on their monthly utility bills next year after the City…\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":381775,"comment_status":"","ping_status":"","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[14],"tags":[4519,155,157,156,45142,134810,134811,134812,134813,2646],"class_list":["post-381774","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","category-corpus-christi","tag-city-council","tag-corpus-christi","tag-corpus-christi-headlines","tag-corpus-christi-news","tag-corpus-christi-residents","tag-rate-adjustments","tag-wastewater-operations","tag-wastewater-service","tag-water-and-wastewater","tag-water-supply"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/381774","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/2"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=381774"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/381774\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/381775"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=381774"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=381774"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=381774"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
