No longer just a game for children, even videos of collectors opening cards receive millions of views on YouTube, and the search for the most valuable cards is akin to a journey to find the Ark of the Covenant.<\/p>\n
Recently, hundreds of Pok\u00e9mon fans waited in lines outside of Sam\u2019s Clubs all across the country for hours to be among the first to grab an exclusive collection of cards: the Ascended Heroes Focused Fighters Premium Collection.<\/p>\n
In a clip from CBS News<\/a>, one collector said he forwent showering to be able to wait in line for 12 hours to get his hands on the cards.<\/p>\n But why wait for so long for Pok\u00e9mon cards?<\/p>\n One collector said it reminds him of a simple time in his life.<\/p>\n Aaron Ramos from Corpus Christi, who also waited in line for hours to grab the exclusive set, told KIII-TV,<\/a> \u201cThe nostalgia factor.
