Sachse Park"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mayor Jeff Bickerstaff, joined by members of Sachse City Council and city staff, cuts the ribbon Saturday, Nov. 1, to officially celebrate completion of J.K. Sachse Park.<\/p>\n<p>Residents braved gray skies and cool mid-50s temperatures Saturday, Nov. 1, as the City of Sachse hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate completion of J.K. Sachse Park, the first park located on the city\u2019s Collin County side.<\/p>\n<p>Free coffee, donuts and an interactive scavenger hunt greeted families who gathered to explore the park\u2019s newest feature \u2014 a colorful playground \u2014 marking the final phase of a project that began several years ago. Participants followed QR-code clues around the park and received national-park-inspired prints of the new site.
