Mangum Manor Park <\/a>in District C will receive $314,000 from the funding. District C council member Joe Panzarella said the repairs have been a long time coming.<\/p>\n\u201cWhen I started this job, the very first email I got was from residents asking about updates on Mangum Park,\u201d he said. \u201cIt\u2019s exciting to replace their playground equipment.\u201d<\/p>\n

Panzarella said in 2024, residents put in a 3-1-1 request to repair the playground, but it was deemed unsafe and was removed. Since then, they have been without a playground.<\/p>\n
The new playground at Mangum Park will be shaded, a concern that had previously been brought up about the park.<\/p>\n
