Meredith is the top-rated recruit in the D-FW area and is considered a consensus five-star\u00a0cornerback by every recruiting site. He was the No. 1 overall recruit in the nation, according to 247Sports.<\/p>\n
At Euless Trinity, Meredith played both ways, recording six rushes for 112 yards on offense and was named a MaxPreps All-American for his defensive play.<\/p>\n
Back in June, the district executive committee for District 11-6A ruled Meredith ineligible by a 5-2 vote, saying that Meredith transferred for athletic purposes.
