EL PASO, TEXAS (KFOX14\/CBS4) \u2014 El Paso ISD families will soon have a new way to keep tabs on school bus transportation, with the district launching Stopfinder, a free mobile app that provides real-time school bus tracking for the 2026-27 school year.<\/p>\n
The district said parents and guardians of students who ride the bus will be able to securely view their child\u2019s bus stop information, receive transportation updates, and track the location of their child\u2019s bus during morning and afternoon routes from their mobile device.<\/p>\n
Stopfinder\u2019s features include real-time bus tracking during pickup and drop-off, secure family sharing that allows approved caregivers or family members to access bus schedules and tracking, and transportation alerts for route changes, delays, and other updates, according to the district.<\/p>\n
Parents and guardians of students who ride the bus will receive an official email invitation with instructions to activate their secure Stopfinder account.<\/p>\n
\u201cAt El Paso ISD, we\u2019re committed to providing exceptional service to our families,\u201d El Paso ISD Superintendent Dr. Brian Lusk said. \u201cStopfinder is an important step forward in improving communication and giving parents real-time access to their child\u2019s transportation information.\u201d<\/p>\n
