The eyes of the softball world were on Davis Diamond this weekend as Aggieland played host to the AUSL Playoffs and Championship Series.<\/p>\n
A near-capacity crowd watched Thursday night’s play-in game, then a pair of sellouts and national television audiences–including the first-ever professional softball game to be broadcast on network TV–took in the championship series on Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n
Congrats to the Utah Talons who claimed their second straight AUSL title with a sweep of the Chicago Bandits.<\/p>\n
Texas A&M was loudly and proudly represented all weekend long, and not only by the 12th Man in the stands.
