Taylor Sheridan\u2019s \u201cLioness\u201d<\/a> premieres its third season this weekend.<\/p>\n

The Paramount+ series stars Zoe Salda\u00f1a as CIA operative Joe<\/a>, who balances her \u201cpersonal and professional lives as the tip of the spear in the agency\u2019s war on terror.\u201d The Fort Worth-filmed show also stars Nicole Kidman, Michael Kelly and Morgan Freeman.<\/p>\n

\u201cLioness\u201d<\/a> is coming back to the small screen after nearly two years away.<\/p>\n

Here\u2019s what to know about the show.<\/p>\n

What\u2019s the release schedule for \u2018Lioness\u2019 season 3?<\/p>\n

The \u201cLioness\u201d season 3 premiere releases on Sunday, Aug. 2.<\/p>\n

From there, the show will release in weekly installments through mid-September:<\/p>\n

Furthermore, here\u2019s the season 3 synopsis:<\/p>\n

\u201cHidden networks, foreign operatives, and personal betrayals collide. Joe (Salda\u00f1a) walks the line between duty and home as unseen forces circle her world. Patterns appear where they shouldn\u2019t, names vanish, and paths rearrange. Guided by Kaitlyn (Kidman) and Westfield (Kelly), Joe confronts enemies operating in the shadows, leaving her to reckon with a war that now reaches into every part of her life.\u201d<\/p>\n

Much of the \u201cLioness\u201d cast from the first two seasons are back for season 3.<\/p>\n

In addition to the previously mentioned cast, \u201cLioness\u201d stars Laysla De Oliveira, Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Genesis Rodriguez, Austin H\u00e9bert, Jonah Wharton, Thad Luckinbill and Hannah Love Lanier.<\/p>\n

The big cast addition this time around is Ian Bohen,<\/a> who played Ryan on \u201cYellowstone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bohen is playing Grady, who is described as \u201ca by-the-book Delta Force operator and primary K9 handler, skilled in battlefield tactics.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLioness\u201d filmed anywhere and everywhere in Cowtown.<\/p>\n

Scenes were shot at SGS Studios in the AllianceTexas area<\/a> in far north Fort Worth. The 450,000-square-foot film and television production campus opened last year and has already welcomed three other Sheridan-produced shows in \u201cLandman,\u201d \u201cThe Madison\u201d and \u201cDutton Ranch.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cLioness\u201d closed roads in downtown for shooting at Wicked Butcher<\/a>, the Sinclair Hotel, Del Frisco\u2019s Double Eagle Steakhouse<\/a>, the Hilton Fort Worth and at Fort Worth\u2019s old city hall.<\/p>\n

Production also closed streets around TCU in the University West and Berkeley Place neighborhoods<\/a>, and around the Cultural District.<\/p>\n

\u201cLioness\u201d season 3 premieres Aug. 2 on Paramount+.<\/p>\n
