The CBS News\/YouGov survey<\/a> was conducted between July 22-24 and asked a sample of more than 2,100 adults across the nation. When asked if their income is keeping up with inflation, 75% of respondents said no.<\/p>\n Similarly, when asked if the Trump administration is focused enough on lowering prices, 78% of Americans also answered no. Most also disagree on tariffs imposed by President Trump, with 64% not in favor.<\/p>\n The country is divided when it comes to gas prices \u2014 half of those surveyed say fuel prices are creating hardship. According to AAA,<\/a> prices have remained around an average of $4 for a gallon of regular gas for the last several weeks.<\/p>\n When it comes to Trump’s overall rating, 39% approve of his job performance, while 61% disapprove.<\/p>\n As the conflict in Iran<\/a> continues, the CBS News\/YouGov poll finds that 58% of Americans are uncertain of the war, while 57% also said they are frustrated.
