The restaurant will serve up menu items like omelets, sandwiches and pancakes with a projected opening in October, according to the company\u2019s marketing team.<\/p>\n<p>What they offer<\/p>\n<p>Urban Egg offers breakfast options including pancakes; cinnamon rolls; breakfast burritos and tacos; huevos rancheros; and shrimp and grits, which are only available in Texas, according to the company\u2019s website.<\/p>\n<p>The lunch menu is stocked with burgers; avocado toast; salads; and sandwiches like the Monte Cristo, served with ham, turkey bacon, seasoned jam and fontina cheese.<\/p>\n<p>The drink menu<\/p>\n<p>Urban Egg has a selection of cocktails, including a bloody mary; espresso martini; morning margarita; and breakfast old fashioned, which is crafted with bourbon, coffee liqueur, simple syrup, orange bitters and maraschino cherries.<\/p>\n<p>The restaurant also has coffee-based drinks such as lattes, cappuccinos, cold brew, hot tea and chai. Other beverages include natural juice blends like the Heavenly Dew\u2014a mixture of honeydew, cucumber, pineapple and fresh mint.<\/p>\n<p>Learn more<\/p>\n<p>The new Urban Egg is the restaurant\u2019s first Austin location and fifth restaurant to showcase the company\u2019s new prototype and refreshed branding, according to the marketing team.<\/p>\n<p>A Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation filing lists a project cost of $400,000, <a href=\"https:\/\/communityimpact.com\/central-austin\/dining\/permit-filing-shows-urban-egg-could-bring-brunch-menu-to-north-austin\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">according to previous Community Impact reporting. <\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Urban Egg will soon expand breakfast and lunch offerings in North Austin starting this fall.
