The new 20,957-square-foot retail store began construction in July.<\/p>\n<p>Location: 255 Kyle Park Ave., Ste. 900, KyleEstimated timeline: July 1-Sept. 1, 2027Estimated cost: $16.5 million<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tdlr.texas.gov\/TABS\/Search\/Project\/TABS2026025995\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Fairfield Inn Staybridge Suites<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A new 121-key hotel is coming to Bastrop, with construction set to conclude in summer 2028.<\/p>\n<p>Location: 837 SH 71, BastropEstimated timeline: Sept. 14-July 3, 2028Estimated cost: $10 million<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tdlr.texas.gov\/TABS\/Search\/Project\/TABS2026025987\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Slaughter Lane Signal Improvements<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This project includes installing accessible pedestrian push-buttons, pedestrian signal poles, and renovating curb ramps and adjacent sidewalks at 11 traffic signals on the Slaughter Lane corridor.<\/p>\n<p>Location: 800 Slaughter Lane to 6700 Slaughter Lane, AustinEstimated timeline: Nov. 30, 2026-Nov. 30, 2027Estimated cost: $1.2 million<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tdlr.texas.gov\/TABS\/Search\/Project\/TABS2026025961\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">AutoZone<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A new AutoZone location is planned for Austin. The 6,446 square-foot auto parts store is set to begin construction in April.<\/p>\n<p>Location: 6401 E. Riverside Drive, AustinEstimated timeline: April 17, 2027-Sept. 16, 2027Estimated cost: $1.1 million<a href=\"https:\/\/www.tdlr.texas.gov\/TABS\/Search\/Project\/TABS2026026100\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Jersey Mikes<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A new Jersey Mikes is planned for Cedar Park. The 1,457 square-foot sandwich shop is expected to be completed in October.<\/p>\n<p>Location: 2301 W.
