Construction on the new Hudson House<\/a> location in Southlake\u2019s Park Village is underway, much to the excitement of local residents and Hudson House fans.<\/p>\n

The new 5,000-square-foot restaurant is going to be located at 1131 E. Southlake Blvd. in the same spot that used to house RA Sushi and right across from Gloria\u2019s Latin Cuisine.<\/p>\n

According to Southlake Mayor Shawn McCaskill,<\/a> the old restaurant was completely gutted out to get the space ready for Hudson House.<\/p>\n

Hudson House is known for its raw oysters that are flown in daily, and its famous \u201cWorld\u2019s Coldest Martini.\u201d The restaurant has an East Coast vibe that customers say draws them in.<\/p>\n

The Southlake location will be the 11th Hudson House in the DFW Metroplex. The Fort Worth location<\/a> has been a big hit since 2023 when it first opened right off of Camp Bowie Boulevard.<\/p>\n

This newest Hudson House was initially supposed to open this summer, according to previous reporting by the Star-Telegram<\/a>, but the date has been pushed back to at least early fall.<\/p>\n

Customers can look forward to a plethora of menu items that cater to different taste buds:<\/p>\n

Seafood options including Hudson House\u2019s popular raw oysters and sushiNew England-style lobster rolls on brioche breadFish tacos made with blackened redfish, mild cheddar and served with coleslaw, salad and aji verde, a spicy green saucePan-seared redfish served with Parmesan broccoli and a buttery lemon sauceSteak fritesCheeseburgers made of up double-thin patties, American cheese, sliced pickles, minced onion and Hudson sauceChicken Parm, with spicy fusilli, fresh mozzarella, fried basil and Parmesan ReggianoKey lime and chocolate silk pies.<\/p>\n

Hudson House is owned by Dallas-based Vandelay Hospitality Group<\/a>, which also owns Drake\u2019s Hollywood, El Molino, Anchor Sushi Bar and others.<\/p>\n
