SAN ANTONIO \u2013 A man was killed, and a suspect was taken into custody after a shooting on the Southeast Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.<\/p>\n
Just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the shooting in the 4600 block of East Southcross, near South WW White Road. <\/p>\n
Upon arrival, police said officers learned the shooting spanned more than one location. SAPD did not reveal the second location. <\/p>\n
A San Antonio Fire Department spokesperson told KSAT the man was in a vehicle and was reportedly shot multiple times. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n
Police said officers later identified a possible shooter and tracked him down.<\/p>\n
The suspect, identified as a man, was later found, along with his vehicle, and \u201cwillingly gave up,\u201d police said. The man was taken into custody without incident.<\/p>\n
Police at the scene said officers are still searching for the weapon used in the shooting.<\/p>\n
A woman may have been with the suspect, and SAPD said they believe she was involved at some point. It\u2019s unclear if the woman was the one who called police.<\/p>\n
A motive for the shooting remains unknown. The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n
