A new restaurant has announced it is coming soon to the former location of the Co-Op Public House (4637 50th St Suite #300). And from the photos posted to Instagram, it looks like a concept we can all celebrate.<\/p>\n

They’ve posted some very enticing drinks, including their\u00a0Pi\u00f1a Caliente, which is ”\u00a0sweet, smoky, a little dangerous, and definitely not your average cocktail.” It looks gorgeous, too, and I hope they keep this style of garnish.<\/p>\n They’ve also posted a picture of a classic margarita in an icy schooner, and I love to see that.<\/p>\n Rumor Patrol<\/p>\n Based on (possibly baseless) comments of Facebook, there seems to be some buzz that this concept is from the folks who brought us El Miote, a popular restaurant that has since closed (now Outlaws). Some other commentators thought it could be the return of El Jalapeno, a restaurant that was located at 5011 I-27. I think the latter is a little less likely, since El Jalapeno closed quite some time ago (but I could be wrong!)<\/p>\n Elevated And Local<\/p>\n That appears to be the case- that we are getting something a little more fancy, but not in the form of a chain.
