The public is invited to attend the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.growinghomenwa.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Growing Home NWA<\/a> event with Monte Anderson, a nationally recognized developer, speaker and educator.<\/p>\n<p>Building Northwest Arkansas, One Project at a Time will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Aug. 26 at the Event Center at Fayetteville Public Library. Lunch will be provided. <a href=\"https:\/\/luma.com\/9p4idm3s\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Link here<\/a> to register for the free event. Registration deadline is Aug. 21, and the capacity is limited to 400 people.<\/p>\n<p>According to a news release, Anderson will discuss his Town Maker philosophy, which focuses on helping entrepreneurs, small developers and community leaders build stronger communities one project at a time. The conversation is designed to inspire area entrepreneurs, small developers and community leaders to think differently about how individual projects can strengthen neighborhoods, create opportunity and contribute to a growing region. Anderson will offer ideas, lessons and perspectives on how communities can turn an initiative into change.<\/p>\n<p>Anderson is president of Duncanville, Texas-based real estate firm Options Real Estate Investments Inc. and a founding partner of Buffalo, N.Y.-based development consulting firm Neighborhood Evolution. He has spent more than 30 years renovating downtowns, commercial corridors, historic buildings and aging shopping centers. His award-winning projects include the Belmont Hotel, Texas Theatre, Tyler Station and the ongoing redevelopment of Wheatland Plaza in Duncanville. He\u2019s also been involved with incremental development and the Strong Towns movement.<\/p>\n<p>The Aug. 26 event is expected to build on the Growing Home regional <a href=\"https:\/\/talkbusiness.net\/2026\/04\/defining-moment-of-northwest-arkansas-growth-discussed-at-council-meeting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">growth strategy<\/a> released in April that provides a vision for accommodating the region\u2019s growth while preserving quality of life.
