The comedian will film his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tobincenter.org\/fluffy\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">10th comedy special<\/a> on August 20 at downtown\u2019s Tobin Center for the Performing Arts.<\/p>\n<p>Iglesias revealed the performance in an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DbWv_aTvcRq\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram video<\/a> touting two big announcements. But before introducing the sure-to-sell-out show, he had another priority: fans to his tiny new chihuahua, Bronco. After nibbling Bronco\u2019s nose, he soon got down to business.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I have a new comedy special that I&#8217;m gonna be recording next month, August 20, and I wanted to let you know the city that I&#8217;m doing it in,\u201d he said, \u201cIt should come as no surprise \u2014 we were supposed to do it there the first time \u2014 San Antonio.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Iglesias was referring to his 2021 Tobin Center residency, which he was forced to cut short after a COVID-19 diagnosis. The cancellation came two days before he planned to tape two gigs for an earlier Netflix special.<\/p>\n<p>Although Iglesias\u2019 main home is in Southern California, he is often sighted in the San Antonio-New Braunfels area, enough for locals to wonder if he has a second home near town. In 2024, he even hinted at a move.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no question, and there should never be any question about the love I have for the 210,\u201d he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.valleycentral.com\/news\/local-news\/comedian-gabriel-iglesias-teases-moving-to-san-antonio\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">reportedly told<\/a> a San Antonio audience. \u201cAll I got to say is\u2026I\u2019ll see you at Buc-ee\u2019s.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Since then, amateur paparazzi have spotted him at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/2644548345801932\/permalink\/3794856937437728\/?rdid=XwGQmXz1AFNx5PUN\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Los Gallos<\/a> in New Braunfels, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/photo?fbid=1022291425919387&amp;set=pcb.1022291459252717\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Grumpy\u2019s Mexican Cafe<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/fluffyguy\/status\/1800225247918256284?s=46&amp;t=PQ1xt8MDEaZ-zilDwnHM3g\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Garcia\u2019s<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/DVHbUoTj0zp\/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer nofollow\" target=\"_blank\">Taco Palenque<\/a>.
