Plano City Council on July 27 approved a $500,000 incentive package for Daisy Brand LLC, the food company known for its sour cream and cottage cheese, to relocate its corporate headquarters to a new 54,498-square-foot office at 5850 Granite Parkway.<\/p>\n

To qualify for the incentive, the company must invest at least $10 million in property improvements by Dec. 31, 2027, according to city documents.<\/a><\/p>\n

Founded in 1917, Daisy Brand is currently headquartered at 12750 Merit Drive in north Dallas. If the move comes to fruition, it would mark another high-profile corporate relocation from Dallas to Plano, following AT&T Inc.’s decision earlier this year<\/a> to leave its longtime home at Whitacre Tower for a new billion-dollar headquarters on the former Electronic Data Systems campus.<\/p>\n

Daisy Brand did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Last year, the company announced plans to build on its operations in Dallas-Fort Worth by renovating an existing 27,000-square-foot warehouse and building a new two-story, roughly 29,000-square-foot innovation center at 2025 Wall St. in Garland.<\/p>\n
