{"id":392818,"date":"2026-07-31T00:58:19","date_gmt":"2026-07-31T00:58:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/392818\/"},"modified":"2026-07-31T00:58:19","modified_gmt":"2026-07-31T00:58:19","slug":"new-details-on-body-found-wrapped-in-plastic-in-san-antonio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/392818\/","title":{"rendered":"New details on body found wrapped in plastic in San Antonio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Bexar\u00a0County authorities have confirmed the identity of a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mysanantonio.com\/news\/local\/article\/body-found-plastic-bexar-county-22362143.php\" data-link=\"native\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" class=\"\">man found wrapped in plastic<\/a> and placed in a closet on Sunday, July 26, as 29-year-old Michael Poche.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Poche was the subject of a missing persons report called in by Margaret Brown, a woman who was ultimately arrested for tampering with evidence, along with her husband, Christopher\u00a0Henson.<\/p>\n<p>Sheriff Javier\u00a0Salazar said at one point in the investigation that the victim&#8217;s friends claimed he left their house after suffering from a night terror.<\/p>\n<p>The 29-year-old&#8217;s death has now officially been ruled as a homicide, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner&#8217;s Office. An autopsy revealed that his cause of death was due to multiple sharp-force injuries to the head, neck, torso and bilateral upper extremities.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Deputies with the Bexar County Sheriff\u2019s Office first arrived to the couple&#8217;s home in the 700 block of Fort Leonard, on the Far\u00a0Westside off Potranco Road between Highway 211 and Loop 1604, at about 4:30 p.m. Sunday night.<\/p>\n<p>Brown initially told authorities that she last saw Poche at approximately 2:00 a.m. earlier that morning.<\/p>\n<p>BCSO conducted a search of the couple&#8217;s home where they eventually discovered Poche&#8217;s body, inside of a vacant room&#8217;s closet, wrapped tightly inside of a clear plastic bag.
