(KOKH) \u2014 A Texas man died after jumping from a boat on Lake Eufaula, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on Lake Eufaula in McIntosh County.<\/p>\n<p>According to OHP, the ski boat was traveling west toward Eufaula Cove Marina at approximately 41 mph when 43-year-old Brandon Shipman of Kilgore, Texas, stood up and jumped from the boat for an unknown reason.<\/p>\n<p>Troopers said Shipman did not resurface.<\/p>\n<p>The Oklahoma Highway Patrol&#8217;s Marine Enforcement Division, with assistance from the OHP Dive Team, recovered Shipman&#8217;s body Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators said Shipman was not wearing a personal flotation device at the time of the incident.<\/p>\n<p>The cause of the drowning remains under investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"McIntosh County, Okla.
