Both drivers remained at the scene.<\/p>\n<p>CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas \u2014 A 60-year-old man died Friday morning after he was struck by two vehicles while trying to cross Kostoryz Road outside of a crosswalk, according to the Corpus Christi Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Officers responded around 6:32 a.m. to the 4300 block of Kostoryz Road for a reported vehicle-versus-pedestrian crash. When officers and paramedics arrived, they found the man had died from his injuries.<\/p>\n<p>Traffic investigators determined the man was crossing eastbound across Kostoryz Road, but not in a marked crosswalk, when he was struck by a vehicle. The impact threw him into the northbound lanes, where he was struck by a second vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>Police said both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Investigators determined the pedestrian was at fault for the crash because he was crossing outside of a crosswalk.
