{"id":395010,"date":"2026-08-01T21:26:08","date_gmt":"2026-08-01T21:26:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/395010\/"},"modified":"2026-08-01T21:26:08","modified_gmt":"2026-08-01T21:26:08","slug":"motorcyclist-killed-in-collision-with-turning-pickup-at-cleburne-intersection-police-say","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-tx\/395010\/","title":{"rendered":"Motorcyclist killed in collision with turning pickup at Cleburne intersection, police say"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/texas\/tag\/motorcycle-crash\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">motorcyclist died<\/a> Friday after his bike collided with a turning pickup truck at a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/texas\/tag\/cleburne\/\" target=\"_blank\" data-invalid-url-rewritten-http=\"\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">Cleburne intersection<\/a>, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The crash occurred about 12:30 p.m. at State Highway 171 and County Road 1010, according to the Cleburne Police Department.<\/p>\n<p>Police said the pickup was traveling west on County Road 1010 and turning south onto State Highway 171 when the motorcycle, heading north on the highway, struck the truck.<\/p>\n<p>The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity is being withheld pending notification of relatives. The pickup driver was not injured, police said.<\/p>\n<p>The crash remains under investigation.
